The Alarcon family is traveling around Andalucia to look for the better pastures for their animals. They are one of the last families that remain working as transhumants, and twice a year, when the winter and summer come, they start their migration. Following the ancient path known as "Royals tracks" Antonio, Maria and their two sons, Antonio and Daniel, migrate by foot with their herd of 600 sheeps. The horses that Alarcon family uses during the migration days, restat early morning next to the base camp of the shepherds. Horses are a valuable tool during the transhumance, helping the herders in the most difficult areas and abrupt terrain in the long journey days. During the 8 days of walk, they walk arround 25 km per day.
